What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the website remember your preferences and improve your experience.
How we use cookies
The HomeBridge uses cookies to:
- Essential cookies: Keep you logged in, process forms, and maintain security (anti-forgery tokens). These are necessary for the site to function.
- Consent preferences: We store your optional-cookie choices in your browser for up to 180 days. Your choice can be changed at any time.
- Analytics cookies (optional): With your consent, Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, measures visits and successful interactions. Our measurement code removes query strings and form contents and groups private pages under a generic page label.
- Advertising and follow-up ads (optional): With your separate consent, the Meta Pixel uses a browser identifier and visits to our public homeowner or agency pages, plus successful homeowner or agency signup or enquiry events, to measure ads and build audiences for follow-up ads. Our event integration does not send identity documents, bank details, student profiles, enquiry messages, or page query strings to Meta.
- Payment cookies: Required by Stripe to process payments securely.
Managing cookies
Use the Cookie settings button on this site to accept, reject or change optional categories. Analytics and advertising measurement remain off until you choose to allow them. Rejecting them does not prevent you from using the site. Withdrawal stops future optional measurement; it does not automatically delete information already received by a provider.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. However, blocking essential cookies may affect the functionality of The HomeBridge.
Third-party cookies
Our providers include Google for analytics, Meta for consented advertising and follow-up audiences, and Stripe for payments. Their policies explain how they process information and their retention periods. Optional identifiers may include Google cookies beginning with _ga and Meta's _fbp. Our stored consent choice is named thb_consent_v4.
